"Man Holding a Netsuke" selected for The Royal Society of Portrait Painters Annual Exhibition 2020

Updated: Apr 23, 2020

Jamie's painting "Man holding a Netsuke" has been selected from almost 2,500 entries for the Royal Portrait Society's Annual Exhibition 2020.

This year about half of the work will be by eminent Members of the Society and half by emerging artists selected through the open submission.

With some 200 portraits on show this is the largest and most comprehensive exhibition of recent portraits in the country.

This year’s exhibition was due to be on display at Mall Galleries, central London, between 7 to 22 May 2020. Unfortunately due to the current COVID 19 pandemic the physical exhibition cannot take place in the Galleries as scheduled. The RP is concentrating its efforts on displaying the exhibition online, front and centre on there website. Please see link to below.

The hope is that the physical exhibition will take place at a later date.
